The Magnificent but Overlooked Mini-Series, Tin Man

I just finished the Tin Man mini-series on Netflix, and it was incredible.  Best thing I've seen in some time.  I was surprised it didn't cause more of a stir back in 2007.  I hadn't really heard of it before, but what a treat!    It's a reworking of Frank L. Baum's "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," but with more of an adult, darker and more dramatic feel to it.  It certainly had the production value of a blockbuster, but it seems to have receded back into history far more quickly than it deserves.

So here's your chance. It's on Netflix, but is expiring in a week or so. It's in three movie-length parts, so you'll need to get started on it right away.  You won't regret it.  Just wait til you see the flying monkeys.

Update: Sometimes they same they're expiring and then they don't. It's still there on Netflix,, and I'm sure it's still as good.
