So I just finished watching what I have to say is the best new film I've seen in years. It's called 'The Fall.'
First and foremost what has to be mentioned is how visually stunning this film is. Every frame is a smorgasbord of eye-candy, plain and simple. It's just gorgeous! Within ten seconds of the film's beginning I was hooked, and it didn't let up. I couldn't get over the sets, most of which, I'm sure, were actual locations from all over the world. The color-pallet of the film just jumps off the screen. It was like bathing yourself in a wonderfully magical world of vision. Now the story, and the acting, etc... were all very compelling and enjoyable, but if I haven't emphasized it enough yet, this is a movie you go see as a gift for your eyes. Unfortunately it's only on Netflix another day, so don't miss it!
